Robert B. Finlay

Robert B. Finlay has over 40 years of experience in the counselling and mental health field specializing in families who are experiencing separation and divorce. These services include: counselling for children and adults, co-parent counselling for parents in conflict, assessment and treatment of parental alienation and estrangement, plus family mediation and parenting coordination. His approach is compassionate, solution focused, and practical; assisting separating families to become empowered and self-sustaining as they transition to a new family structure.

As an independent practitioner, Robert B. Finlay also works in partnership with other professionals of the Westminster Law Group, as well as, assists within the realm of the legal community to resolve court disputes, develop parenting plans and division of assets; divorce coaching for parents utilizing a Collaborative Divorce Model leading to a settlement; parenting co-ordination for high conflict families; and court reports including View of the Child Reports and Section 2-11, Custody and Access Evaluations.

Robert enjoys spending time with his identical twin adult sons and invests his spare time maintaining a healthy active lifestyle by competing on the squash court and spending time at the gym.
